Welcome to Blyth Road Medical Centre

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Repeat Dispensing

If you, or someone you care for, use the same medicines on a daily basis (ie regularly), you may be able to benefit from using the NHS electronic repeat dispensing service the practice offers to suitable patients.  This service means you won't have to order your repeat prescription from the GP practice every time you need more medicine.  Just collect your dispensed medication from your nominated community pharmacy.  please read the attached leaflet and speak to a member of the practice to check if this service would benefit you.

Please read the eRepeat Dispensing Leaflet for more information

Improving access to general practice: evening and weekend appointments now available

Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or ANP on Thursday evenings, after 6.30pm and on Friday mornings, before 8am. Patients can also book an appointment with a GP on Saturdays.  Saturday appointments will take place at Dinnington Medial Centre.  Talk to the practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment.

By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at www.england.nhs.uk/gpaccess
